Kevin P. Kolenut

Kevin P. Kolenut, 70, of Lavallette NJ, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026.Kevin was born on Nov 26, 1955 in Paterson, NJ to Edward & Margaret Kolenut. After graduating Montclair State College and receiving his CPA license, Kevin went on to pursue a career in accounting, working at Federal Bronze Products as Treasurer. In 1985 Kevin started his own CPA practice which he ran to the date of his passing.

Outside of work, Kevin loved to play tennis, fish, surf, paddleboard and play guitar, all of which he passed on to his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with the young ones teaching them everything he knew, while making sure they were having fun. He was an avid NY Giants fan and NY Knicks fan.

Kevin was a devoted husband to Sharyn Kolenut for 45 years, and a loving parent to Christine and Timothy, and grandparent to Dylan, Tyler, Flynn, Matthew & Samantha. He had many good friends and enjoyed talking with people in general.

A Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 11:00 am at the Church of the Visitation, Brick, NJ.

Kevin will be deeply missed by all who knew him and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
