It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth F. Taylor, who passed away on January 15, 2015 at the Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune.
Ken was born in Bergenfield, NJ in 1934. He moved to Manhattan as a young boy and joined the army out of high school, serving at Fort Dix. Following an honorable discharge, Ken began night studies, putting himself through college and graduating as an electrical engineer.
His love of film led him into the movie industry, where he worked in celluloid processing. Ken enjoyed figuring out how things worked and then fixing them, spending many weekends doing home improvement and a variety of repair work. In his leisure time, he enjoyed old movies, reading, golf and chatting with everyone he met.
Ken was a devoted father and family man. He is survived by his wife Donna, his son Lee (Mary), his daughters Lynn and Allison, his brothers Andrew (Janice) and Arthur (Yvonne), his sisters Emma and Virginia, and his grandchildren, Ryan, Sean, Brenna, Caroline and Colin. Services were private.
