Kathryn Giresi - Wall Twsp.

Kathryn (Slifko) Giresi, 96, of Wall Township, formerly of Lake Como passed away peacefully August 29, 2013 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center with her family by her side. Known as Kay, she was born in Homer City, PA She moved to Newark to live with her sister Marie where she met the love of her life, Salvatore. They married and lived in various locations in North Jersey during the depression, settling in Belmar in 1947 where they ran a rooming house, "The Glenn House" for 20 years. Other jobs included RCA, making radio tubes. Jersey Shore Medical Center and the Belmar Elementary School as part of the cafeteria staff, Adams Novelty Factory, Neptune and as a Badge Checker at the Belmar Beach for over 30 years.She is predeceased by her parents; Harry and Anna Slifko Her husband Salvatore in 1967 her son's Harry in 2000 and Salvatore in 2005 and her grandson Salvatore in 2011.She is survived by her son George and his wife Ronnell of Lake Como Her daughter in law Celia Giresi of Neptune her grandchildren ; Krista Giresi of Wall, Sara Giresi-Glynn of Toms River, Mark giresi of Lake Como, Diane Giresi of Ocean Twp. and Glenn Giresi of Sebastian FL. Also surviving are her great grandchildren; Alexander, Derek, Liam, Taylor, Salvatore, Danielle and Ryan Giresi, also Mason Cirignano and Gaven Glynn.
