Joy Lender

Joy Lender, 60, of Jackson, NJ, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 4, 1964, Joy was the cherished daughter of William and Florence Bevan.

A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and daughter, Joy grew up in Manalapan, NJ, before settling in Jackson. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—spending time with her family, relaxing on the beach, or enjoying days by the pool. Her smile and contagious laugh brightened the lives of everyone who knew her.

Joy was preceded in death by her parents, William and Florence, and her brother, Scott. She is survived by her beloved children, Cody Lender and his wife Brittney their two precious daughters Lily and Freya Lender (granddaughters), and Tyler Lender and his partner Logan. Joy is also survived by her siblings, William Jr Bevan, Candice Connington, Dawn (Mike) Romano, Dwayne Bevan, Penny Piro and her many nieces and nephews, who loved her dearly.

A celebration of Joy’s life will be held on November 17 at 3-4:30pm at Abundant Life Church of God, 632 Colts Neck Rd, Freehold NJ 07728. Family and friends are invited to gather to share memories and honor her remarkable spirit.

Services are entrusted to Jersey Shore Cremation, 43 Taylor Avenue, Manasquan, NJ.
