Josephine Wieszt

Josephine Wieszt went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 17, 2018 in Brick, NJ. Josephine Wieszt was born on March 28, 1926 in Pilisvrsvr, Hungary. In 1956, during the Hungarian Revolution, she and her husband, Geza B. Wieszt, escaped to the United Sates where they both became proud United States citizens. Her husband predeceased her on July 25, 2010. She was long time resident of Toms River, NJ. Josephine was a hair dresser since she moved here from Budapest, Hungary and she and her husband owned several different hair salons. She is survived by her two children, Geza E. Wieszt along with his wife and Emery Wieszt. She also has a loving granddaughter, Christina Wieszt. Josephine is remembered as a selfless, compassionate wife and mother who always had a smile for all, even when times were tough. She had a quiet strength. She never complained and always looked to a better future. She will be deeply missed by all.
