Joseph B. Romanowski Iii - Eatontown

AGE: 52 • Eatontown Joseph B. Romanowski, of Eatontown, lost his battle with cancer and entered into eternal peace on Monday, August 12, 2013, at home. Joe was born in Abbington, Pennsylvania, in September 1960. He was a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, New York Joe relocated to New Jersey in 1983, and commenced his culinary influence on the Jersey Shore, working in many local restaurants prior to opening the well famed Joe & Maggie's Bistro in 1991, followed by Bay Ave. Trattoria, Highlands in 2005. He is survived by his loving wife, partner and soul mate, Maggie; his parents, Joseph and Frances Romanowski of Oakhurst; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Michael (Lisa), Teddy (Liz), Stephen, and Tommy; daughter, Jennifer, and 17 adored nieces and nephews who were very dear to his heart. There are no funeral arrangements at this time. A private celebration of Joe's life will be held in near future.
