Joseph M. Dewland

Joseph M. Dewland, formally of Secaucus, passed away on May 2nd, with his family by his side. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Dewland, his mother Marguerite (née McLaughlin) and sisters Susan Mac Pherson and Kathryn Forsdahl. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law John and Mary Robinson of Colts Neck, niece Taylor of Ojai, CA, nephew Charles Forsdahl of Oakland, niece Jennifer and her husband John Earp of Forked River, nephew Jason Robinson and partner Crane of Aberdeen, and niece Holly and her husband BJay Willis of Colts Neck. Joseph graduated from St. Joseph's High School, West New York, where he excelled in football and baseball, and was named All State 1st Team. He went o to play baseball at Biscayne College, Miami, FL. His various careers were with ITT as an account executive, the Associated Press, NYC, and most recently as a Pharmacy technician with Partners Pharmacy. A Memorial Gathering will be held Wednesday, May 10th from 5 to 8 PM at Holmdel Funeral Home, Holmdel. Memorial contributions can be made in Joseph's name to St. Mary's Church, Colts Neck.
