John H. Schuster age 92 (Jack) passed away on November 17, 2015. He was born in Newark and lived in Oceanport and Little Silver before moving to Tinton Falls.
Jack enlisted in the U.S. Navy after Pearl Harbor. When WW II ended he was discharged and joined the Marine Corps Reserves. After the service he worked as an HVAC instructor at Lincoln Technical Institute in Union and retired as Grounds Engineer at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken. He was also an avid golfer.
His wife Lena Kelly Schuster predeceased him in 2011. He leaves behind a son Jack Schuster of Shrewsbury, a daughter Jill Starkey of Pueblo, CO, a granddaughter Jesse Starkey of Huntsville, TX and a great grandson.
