John David Crane Jr., lovingly known as "Jack" passed away on October 21, 2025 at Community Medical Center, surrounded by his family after battling an illness. He was born on July 12, 1978 in Morgan, NJ. He lived in Sayerville, then moved to Toms River, NJ with his family. He lived in the Toms River area for most of his life although he did move out of state a few times, he always made his way back.

Jack graduated from High School East in 1996. He then traveled for a few years living in Florida and Las Vegas before coming back home. He began working as a locksmith in 1998. He has worked as a locksmith for 25+ years. Jack lived life on his own terms, to know him was to love him. He loved oldies, punk rock, and “The Boss.” He was the life of the party with young and old alike. He was a proud Rams and Dodgers fan, also loved the NY Knicks. Sports was a part of his life from childhood thru adulthood. He coached baseball when Mikey was on the team many years ago and became an assistant coach to his daughter, Kylie’s softball team in 2024.

He is predeceased by his grandparents and some of his nearest and dearest friends.

He leaves behind two children, Jack and Kylie Crane, his parents Jack and Robin Crane and sister Devon Crane From Lacey NJ, Chrissy Davis (Joe) of Toms River, NJ. His brothers Brian Crane (Caitlyn) of Woodward, PA and Cris Finley (Cassie) of Blairstown, NJ. His god-daughter Giselle Johasen of Toms River. He also leaves behind his nieces, nephews, and many family and friends who will miss him dearly.
