Joan Heffron passed away April 7, 2021, at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital due to COVID compilation (Pancreatitis). Joan Maude (Blaisdell) Heffron born February 20, 1936, to Augustus V Blaisdell and Pauline E. (Todass) in Wilmington Massachusetts. She was the youngest of five children, Augustus Jr. ( Gus), Robert, Elizabeth (Betty), and Shirley.
Married to Edward A. Heffron for over 20 years, where God blessed them with four children. Edna Susan (Sandy), Edward Jr. (Alex), Joan Pauline, and Rose Althea. Fulfilling her lifelong dream of being a Mother.
Making New Jersey her home for the last 45 years. In 1980 she became a Member of Fountain Of Life Center in Columbus NJ Where she rekindled her relationship with Jesus and found the love and beauty in this life. Joan’s passions in life are God, Country, and Football (True New Englander GO-Patriots).
Oldest Daughter Edna Susan (Sandi) (deceased) married to William Mackintosh Sr. (Bill) (deceased), (lived in Pemberton NJ) but left behind four children. William Jr, Christina, Joseph, and Branden. Also has eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Son Edward Alexander Heffron Jr (residing in Delaware) and former spouses Roxanne and Rita had 5 Children. Amanda Rose (34) married to Sean Murphy with two children Michael Nolan (age 5) and Edalynn Alexandria (age 3); Son Adam Ryan (31) (deceased) was married to Tanya and had two daughters from a previous marriage with Nikki, Natalie Reane (age 12) and Elliana Rose (age 6); Son Konstantin (28) married to Sara with daughter Aliana (age 2); Son Edward Alexander III (27); Son Aidan Reid (25).
Daughter Joan Ahmed, married to Mohamed Ahmed residing in East Windsor NJ. With five children Alat-Eldin married to Kristin (Kocher) living in Delanco NJ, Zacharia, Aziza married to Gonzalo Solis living in Clifton NJ, Zaynah, and Ali. Grandchildren Farah and Ismaeel children of Alat and Kristin. We truly love you Gram-Gram!
Youngest Daughter Rose Althea Heffron resides in Coates, North Carolina with lifelong partner Cynthia Langdon.
Joan loved singing in the Choir, making costumes for puppets, and designing dolls and doll clothing. She enjoyed putting smiles on children's faces from her dolls. In her later years, she enjoyed playing Bocca, Canasta, and sewing quits.
