September 30, 1956 — January 4, 2014

Jeffrey Stork, of Manasquan, passed away at home on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014. Jeffrey aka "Swede" was born on Staten Island and graduated from St. Adalberts Grammar School and St. Peter's High School for Boys. After graduation, Jeff enlisted in the United States Air Force where he was awarded The Air Force Commendation Medal for prompt action, bravery and humanitarian regard for his fellow airman. While in the Air Force, he met and married Jeanne Wallace of Maine. But tragically, she succumbed to cancer a few years later. After leaving the Air Force, Jeff became a member and worked as a Steamfitter Local 638 in NYC, working along side his brother George. Jeff moved to Manasquan in 1991 and had many close friends in the community. He enjoyed his Sundays watching football with many of his friends. He was a member of the Manasquan Elks Lodge 2534.He was devoted to his mother, Joan Stork who he helped care for until her passing last month. Jeff is survived by his brother, George and sister-in-law Tammi; his Aunt Jane and Uncle Phil Wnuk. also many cousins.A funeral mass will be offered 9:30 a.m. Saturday, January 11, 2014 at St. Denis Catgholic Church in Manasquan. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Elks Lodge 2534 of Manasquan. Arrangements are entrusted to Jersey Shore Cremation Service, 36 Broad St., Manasquan.
