Jean M. Coffee, 90 Tinton Falls and Marco Island, FL died January 15, 2015 at her home. She was a long time resident of Tinton Falls retiring to Marco Island, FL. Jean returned to Tinton Falls after her husband Bert passed in 2012.
She had a long career in nursing, starting out as an RN, becoming a nurse anesthetist, then serving as Chief Nurse Anesthetist at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, NJ. She made multiple trips with a medical team to the remote jungle areas in Guatemala, volunteering her services to the Mayan Indians.
She was predeceased by her husband Burt Coffee and leaves behind a son Jack Schuster of Shrewsbury, a daughter Jill Starkey of Pueblo, CO, a granddaughter Jesse Starkey of Huntsville, TX and a great grandson.
