Jason G. Levinson

Jason G. Levinson, 47, passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Centra State Medical Center.. Jason, a native of Freehold currently resided in Jackson and spent his entire life in the Garden State. Jason graduated Freehold Borough High School in 1988. He worked at Shop Rite in Freehold as a loyal and dedicated employee for 30 years. Jason was known for his kind, caring personality and calm easy-going demeanor. Always one to offer a positive word, Jason was quick with a smile and treated everyone with kindness. Jason was a passionate sports fan and a loyal supporter of the New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Steelers. Jason is survived by his wife of 28 years, Stacy Melby, his mother Carol Novick, his father and step-mother Michael and Evelyn Levinson, his brother Keith Novick, nephew Benjamin Novick, aunts and uncles, Phyllis and Gary Novick, Debra Levinson as well as numerous extended family and beloved friends. A celebration of life will be held 6:30 - 8:30 PM, Friday, September 29th at the Freehold Township Senior Center, 116 Jackson-Mills Road, Freehold. Attendees are requested to wear Yankees, Steelers or any professional team athletic attire to honor Jason’s passion for sports. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in memory of Jason may be made to The American Cancer Society and would be appreciated.
