Janis Ann Gilby

Janis A. Gilby, 58, passed away August 26, 2019 at Community Medical Center Toms River, NJ. Mrs. Gilby was born in Lakewood Township and raised in Howell for many years before settling in Lakehurst, NJ. She is pre-deceased by parents Earl and Alice Hagaman, along with step father Jonas Letts, daughter Amanda Gilby and brother Earl Hagaman Jr. Janis is survived by her husband Jeffrey P. Gilby of one hundred years. Their children Allison McKelvey and husband Robert, Jason Gilby and wife Shanan, Jerome Gilby and Alexander Gilby. Janis grandchildren Tremain, Shealyn, Desiree, Marianna, Cali, Payton and Calvin. Her loving siblings Mary Lizardo and husband Antonio, Edward Hagaman and his wife Dawn, Sandra Dickson and her husband William and Elise Kahlert. A host of nieces and nephews Cheyenne, Kayla, Tyler, Charlie, Michael, Jessica and her husband Nick, Joshua and his wife Amber, Casandra, Lisa, Ronnie, Mark, Michael, John, Amy, Melissa, Dawn, Crystal, Melanie, Heather, Rich and his wife Molly, Patrick, Elizabeth and Earl III . She leaves behind her fur baby Bruiser. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 2 pm, at the Jackson Elks 1059 E Veterans Highway Jackson, NJ 08527
