It is with great sadness that the family of Janice Ann Martin (nee De Barba) announce her passing on June 11, 2023 after a brief illness at the age of 69.
Janice was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, and was raised in Madison Park, New Jersey. She graduated from Cedar Ridge High School, Old Bridge, New Jersey in 1972. Janice was instrumental in the founding and operation of Ameripack, Inc., Robbinsville, New Jersey where she worked along with her former husband, Peter Martin until 2012.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Bernadette De Barba, brother-in-law Joseph Maseda, and beloved sister Bernadette McCarroll.
She will be forever cherished by her sisters Susan Megas (Takis) of Longmeadow, Massachusetts, Mary Carol Maseda of Bradley Beach, New Jersey, niece Danielle Reif, nephews Robert Reif and John Megas, and brothers-in-law Francis McCarroll and Takis Megas. She is also survived by her former husband, Peter Martin.
Janice will be remembered for her impeccable taste and style. She took great pride in decorating her home in Millstone Township, New Jersey, and then her lovely apartment in Bradley Beach, New Jersey. Janice had a quick wit and a great sense of humor. She was a fabulous story teller who could make you laugh until you cried. Above all, Janice will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering loyalty to her family and friends. The family thanks the Jersey Shore University Medical Center MICU, Neptune, New Jersey for their exceptional care and compassion.
