Janet R. Colbert

Janet Ruth Colbert (Hansen) 69 of Lakewood passed away on September 8, 2015 at home after a long battle with cancer. Janet was an oncology nurse for many years and has made a difference in every life she touched. She was also quite the crafter, from beading to quilting and beyond, she left her signature on everything she made. She is survived by her son Damon DeSio and her significant other Robert Magley. All are invited to attend her Funeral Service, 11 AM Friday, Sept. 18th. at Point Pleasant Presbyterian Church, 701 Forman Ave, Point Pleasant Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Compassion and Choices. She will be missed greatly. Raise your margarita glass for one last toast to Janet Colbert, we love you!
