Jane Marie Clancy, 52 of Toms River peacefully passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on March 4, 2018.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, March 9, 2018 at The Presbyterian Church of Toms River, 1070 Hooper Avenue Toms River, NJ 08753. Rev. Robbie Ytterberg of The Presbyterian Church of Toms River will be presiding.
Jane was born in Morristown, NJ on October 31, 1965. She graduated from Wallkill Valley Regional High School, Hardyston, NJ and received a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice from Trenton State College, along with a Nursing degree from Ocean County College.
Jane was married to Robert Clancy on October 6, 1990; they were married 27 wonderful years.
Jane enjoyed her 17 years of work as a Registered Nurse for Compassionate Care Hospice. She spent time traveling with family and friends especially to her happy place, Disney World. Jane loved spending time on the beach and in the waters of St Thomas. She was a devoted mother who was extremely passionate about supporting her children. She was greatly involved in the PTA for Joseph A. Citta school and served as a past President. She was also actively involved in The Presbyterian Church, volunteering her time in support of the community.
Jane is preceded in death by her mother Ann Marie (Treloar) Marshall.
Jane was always in charge; whether you knew it or not.
Jane is survived by her husband Robert, sons Kyle and Ryan and daughter Kaitlyn, father Robert Marshall, brother Thomas Marshall and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Compassionate Care Foundation, in memory of Jane 1130 Hooper Ave, Toms River NJ 08753. The family of Jane Clancy wishes to thank Jefferson University Medical and Radiation Oncology for providing 15 years of exceptional and compassionate care.
