Jane Adamson, 79, of Point Pleasant, NJ passed away on May 9, 2026.
Jane Rita (Siwinski) Adamson was born on June 24, 1946 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of Catharine (Ference) and Joseph Siwinski, and stepdaughter of Joseph Macko. Growing up in Philadelphia, Jane attended Saint Adalbert’s Elementary and Little Flower High School. After marrying the love of her life on April 8, 1967, Jane lived in Niceville, FL before relocating to the Jersey Shore, eventually settling in Point Pleasant to expand and raise their family.
Spending time with her family was Jane’s greatest joy. She always kept up with what was going on in her family’s lives and knew just how to make everyone feel special. Jane loved to garden and could convince even the most stubborn plant to bloom or regrow with just a pinch. Jane learned to knit and crochet from her mother and passed on her skills to her daughters, granddaughters and nieces. Many made-with-love blankets and sweaters were shared over the years with Jane’s family and friends.
Jane was calm and soft-spoken, but she could hold her own with fellow Philadelphia sports fans while cheering on her hometown Phillies and Eagles. Jane was a kind, loving person who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. She was friendly to everyone she met and had a knack for chatting with strangers only to find that they were Philadelphia or Jersey Shore transplants to wherever she was traveling.
Jane was the cherished wife of Frederick Adamson for 59 years; loving mother to Kristine (Tom) Fitzgerald, Suzanne Adamson (Tim) Mauri, John Adamson, and David (Ashley) Adamson; babci to Ryan (Priscilla) Fitzgerald, Sammy Fitzgerald, Celia Mauri, Keelin Mauri, Niamh Mauri and Alexander Adamson; and prababci to Elliott Fitzgerald. She is also survived by her brothers, Joseph (Carol) Siwinski and Jack (Josephine) Siwinski, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Jane will be deeply missed by her family, and their memories of time spent with her will be held close in their hearts.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Heart Association, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation or a local memory care facility. You can also honor Jane’s memory by planting flowers or performing an act of kindness.
