James Phillip Raines Sr

James Phillip Raines Sr., of Browns Mills, NJ, was born on November 1, 1949, and passed away on August 16, 2025.

Known to family and friends as Jim, he had a passion for computers and enjoyed working on cars, spending many hours dedicated to the things he loved. While he wasn’t always patient at times, Jim had a great sense of humor and a deep love for his partner, Barbara Hopkins. Above all, he was devoted to his family. He was the proud father of eight biological children, a caring stepfather to two children, and a loving grandfather.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who loved him.

A private memorial service will be held with his immediate family.
