James Lyle Estelle lost his battle with ALS on January 28, 2016.
As a kid growing up in Wall he developed a great love for softball, bowling and Sprint Car Racing. He graduated from Wall High School in 1977 and then attended the colleges of Pittsburgh State and Chowan Universities to earn a degree in Printing Technology.
He was last employed as a Professional Driver with Clayton Livery Service, Spring Lake until he was no longer able to in 2014. Jim so enjoyed his family and friends throughout his life. He was quite a character and his friends had many nicknames for him; Buzzy, Jersey, Slanty, Jersey Sprint Nut, and Dirty Dumb just to name a few.
He was predeceased by his parents Wilbur (Jake) and Betty Estelle. He is survived by his siblings Cheryl Hendrickson, Eileen O'Hara, Richard Estelle and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 6th at Wall Fire Co #1, 1511 18th Avenue, Wall, NJ from 1 pm to 4 pm. In lieu of flowers a donation can be sent to Joan Dancy and PALS, PO Box 8157, Red Bank, NJ 07701
