James Leo Barry

“Big Jim”, James Leo Barry, 56, of Jackson, NJ, joined the party upstairs with his parents William and Dorothy Barry and brother Dennis Barry on March 28, 2017. Jimmy fully lived the words: “Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out and proclaiming, Wow! What a ride!”. His siblings left to carry on the party here on Earth: Patrick and Linda Barry of Brick, NJ, Karen Burke and Joe Flanagan of Toms River, NJ, Amy Yansick of Delran, NJ, William and Beverly Barry of Reynoldsburg, OH and Lynn Barry and Wayne Lees of Jackson, NJ. They all hope he honors the mantra, “Don’t tell Mom!”. Uncle Jimmy will be dearly missed by his plethora of nieces and nephews: Erik and Marissa, Jessica, Chris, Tiffany and Eddie, Michael, DJ, Sara, Kaitlin, Kenny, Meagan, Jennifer, Samantha, Stephanie, Hannah, Alexis and Tyler, as well as, even more great nieces and nephews. Jimmy had a mass of Catholic burial on April 8, 2017 with his family all around him followed by everyone raising a pint in his honor.
