Irma "Jean" Therien

Irma May Therien (Jean) of Brick, NJ passed away peacefully on August 24, 2025 at the age of 92. Irma (Jean) was born in Newark, NJ on May 25,1933. Irma was preceded in death by her loving husband of 76 years Robert, her daughter Linda Whatton, son-in-law Fred Whatton, grandson Freddie Whatton jr. and her son Robert Therien Jr.

Irma (Jean) is survived by her daughter Judy & son-in-law Jeffrey Thomas of NC, son Gary & daughter in-law Doreen Therien of Brick NJ, and son David & daughter-in-law Mary Therien of PA.

Irma (Jean) was a homemaker to her husband and 5 children, and a loving "granny" to her 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Irma loved Square Dancing with her husband Robert, enjoyed traveling the US in their RV and spending time with family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
