Additionally, she served as the beloved Sodexo lunch lady, bringing joy and nourishment to the students of Old Bridge grammar and middle schools. Irene's commitment to excellence also extended to her role as a long-time laundry attendant at smileys laundromat, ensuring that cleanliness and comfort were upheld with utmost care.


Irene's spiritual journey was guided by her devotion to faith. While she found solace in Sunday mass on TV, her religious beliefs remained a personal and sacred part of her life, known only to her and the divine.


In her leisure time, Irene immersed herself in the joys of crocheting, cooking, and gardening. With each stitch, she poured her heart into creating beautiful and intricate pieces. Her culinary creations were a testament to her love for others, as she delighted in preparing meals that brought joy and nourishment to those she held dear. In her garden, she cultivated a haven of beauty and serenity, tending to the blooms that flourished under her loving care.
