Harvey W. Erving

.HARVEY W. IRVING 71 of Bradley Beach passed away December 6, 2014 at Jersey Shore Medical Center. Harvey was born in Long Branch and lived in Ocean Grove and Bradley Beach most of his life. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Harvey managed Krisanna's Coffee Shop in Ocean Grove and when he retired in 2001, Harvey and a friend began volunteering by serving Thanksgiving Day meals in an Ocean Grove alley way for people in need. This progressed to the Bradley Beach Food Pantry where he volunteered full time. He also volunteered handing out winter coats in Belmar. He spent his entire lifetime helping and volunteering to help and feed the less fortunate. Harvey leaves behind all his friends he volunteered with and the numerous people who lives he touched. There will be a Memorial Gathering and Service Thursday, January 8th. from 2 to 6 PM at The First United Methodist Church, 319 Lareine Ave, Bradley Beach.
