George R. Washington

George Ronald Washington, 65, of Asbury Park, passed away Friday, Dec. 13, 2013. George was born in Long Branch and lived in Asbury Park. He was a cook at Frank's Deli in Asbury Park before retiring. George is predeceased by his wife, Ernestine , his father and mother, Albert B., Sr and Alice Washington, his brothers, Russell Washington and Albert B. Washington, Jr. Surviving are his children, Ebony Wright, Ronald Wright and Sikemia Wright; his brothers, James Washington and Ricardo Washington and his sister, Celeste Jackson. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. A memorial gathering will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21 at the Sebastian Villa in the Social Room, 2305 W. Bangs Ave., Neptune.
