Gary Patrick Hennessy

Gary P. Hennessy, 73, passed unexpectedly on Thursday, October 1st. Gary was born in the Bronx, NY, and raised in Clark, NJ.

He worked for Bell Labs, Lucent Technologies, and Avaya. After retiring, he did what he loved most: playing and creating music.

He was predeceased by his parents, John E. Hennessy and Stephanie Hennessy; his siblings, John J. Hennessy, Kenneth Hennessy, and Brian Hennessy; and his partner, Janet Thompson.

He is survived by his children, Erin Santanello, Megan Pollaro, David Kelly, and James Kelly; his sisters, Joyce (Jay) Brda, Susan (David) McDonald, Jean Horton, and Kathleen( Daniel) Herenchak; He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews.

His legacy of love, laughter, and music will be carried on by all those blessed to have known him.

Services will be private.
