Gail Mearns Gartner

Gail Mearns Gartner, 70, Wall, passed away peacefully on March 1st at Ocean Medical Center, surrounded by family. Born in Kearny, raised in Middletown, Gail moved to Brick in 1976, where she raised her family. She moved to Wall 9 years ago. She adored her grandchildren and watching them grow, and was a fixture at their sporting and school events. Some of her favorite moments were spent vacationing in Ocean City every year with her children and grandchildren. She worked in the Brick community over many years, including Brick High School/cafeteria and Target. She was a good listener and quick with an opinion and a laugh! She was predeceased by her parents, John & Ruth Mearns. She is survived by her 5 children, spouses and grandchildren, Mark & Laura Gartner, Kristen Gartner Jennings & Scott Jennings, John & Randi Gartner, Matt Gartner, Sarah Gartner LaBruna & Bill LaBruna. She will be missed by her loving grandchildren, Nate, Tim, Jason Jennings; Kennedy Gartner; Ryan, Connor, Kylee Gartner; and Sammie & Billy LaBruna. The family will plan a memorial Mass at a later date due to the pandemic.
