Shirley Lou Barrett AGE: 85 • Wall Township Shirley Lou Barrett, 85, of Wall Township, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2013, with her friends by her side at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. She was born March 30, 1928 in Tarentum, PA to Lawrence and Edna Barrett. Shirley moved to New Jersey in 1965 and worked at Lab-Volt Systems as an executive assistant for over 40 years. She loved to travel, spend time at Manasquan Beach, reading and watching sports. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the First Presbyterian Church of Manasquan, 16 Virginia Ave., Manasquan. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts are encouraged in support of the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital Heart & Vascular Institute. Checks may be made payable to "UPMC-HVI" noting Shirley Barrett in memory of her father, Lawrence A.
