Frank James Pietropinto, 91, of Sea Girt, passed away after a long illness at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune attended by his devoted wife and children. Born and married in Newark, NJ, Frank moved to Clifton in 1963.
In 1996 he retired to Sea Girt with his loving spouse of almost 70 years, Doris. He is survived by his two children, Susan Murphy of Wall and Robert Pietropinto of Wayne, four grandchildren and four great-grandsons of whom he was very proud.
Frank began work as a barber, but found his life’s calling in 1951 as a foreman plasterer and mason with the NJ BAC. He was honored to have worked on many buildings in New Jersey and New York. He also served with a New Jersey National Guard in Communications .
For 50 years a Master Freemason in Clifton Lodge # 203, Frank volunteered in the kitchen and did fundraising for muscular dystrophy and he once presented a check to Jerry Lewis for his Telethon. Frank was always helpful to friends and family with projects and repairs. He was a member of Manasquan Presbyterian Church.
