Frank J. Maltese 67 passed away on Thursday January 21, 2016 surrounded by family and friends. He was born and grew up in Jersey City, NJ where he graduated from Dickenson High School. He served his country during the Vietnam War. After returning home, Frank became a member of the Carpenters Union Local 65 out of Perth Amboy and later to Local 2250 out of Red Bank.
His sense of humor and amazing smile will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
Frank was predeceased by his father Francis Joseph Maltese.
He is survived by his two daughters Nicole Gonzalez and her fiancé Jon Phillips, and Amanda Maltese. His mother Elizabeth Rutenberg. His siblings Linda Hack and husband Jim, Robert Maltese and partner Brian Stiles, Michael Maltese-Cutillo and wife Dawn, Cathy Johnson and Tim Coffey. He was the grandfather of Jada, Lucinda and Jameson.
The celebration of Frank's life will take place on Sunday January 31st at The American Legion, Post 54, 62 West Main St. Freehold from 2-6pm.
