Frank L. Climer

Frank L. Climer, 84, of Brick, unexpectedly passed away peacefully Friday, March 5, 2021. Born in Murfreesboro, TN, Frank lived there until he went into the service and was stationed at Sandy Hook, NJ, where he met his future wife. After a short return to Tennessee, they moved back to NJ, lived in Belmar for 24 yrs then to Brick for the last 37 yrs. Frank was a member of the Teamster Union, working in the bread industry for Bond, Dugan, Taystee then Stroehmann until he retired in 1995. Frank was predeceased by his wife, Barbara, of 61 yrs, his mother and father, Bessie Dycus and William Stanton Climer, his 3 brothers Claypool Climer, Lawrence Roland ‘Buck’ Climer and Vernon Climer, his 7 sisters Pauline Hesson, Nell Bailey, Elise Ryan, Mazelle Wheeler, Mildred Redlich, Ruby Jacobs and Josephine Sage. Frank is survived by his 3 loving children, daughter Karen Chillemi Ledbetter and her husband Kenneth from Houston, Tx.: son Scott Climer and his wife Donna of Point Pleasant and his youngest daughter Susan Climer Ringo and her fiancé James Davis of Brick. Frank also leaves behind 5 grandchildren, Michael Chillemi, Marissa Chillemi, Kristina Climer Borelli, Kevin Rippon and Christopher Climer Davis, 1 great grandchild Jacob Borelli and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his beloved furbabies Ted and Bear. Services and Interment will be celebrated at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery privately at a later date.
