Francis Joseph Kelly, Jr.

Frank passed away Monday, January 23, 2017, he was born in the Highlands to the late Francis J. Kelly, Sr. and Mary C. Conway, raised in Middletown and later resided in Fair Haven, Rumson and Little Silver. Frank graduated from Seton Hall University, became a Certified Public Accountant and later taught at the Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University. Frank was recognized in “Who’s Who in America” for his outstanding achievements and served in the United States Air Force. Frank worked at Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. as a CPA and then held the position of Senior Vice President and Controller at Trust Company of New Jersey before starting his own CPA practice which he continued until retirement in 2010. Frank was a devout Catholic and was involved in many Holy Cross School volunteer positions during his children’s school age years in Rumson. Frank is survived by his longtime beloved companion, Joan Roper of Little Silver, three sons and one daughter: Scott and his wife Tammy of Indianapolis, IN, Doug of NYC, Debbie of Oceanport and Mark and his wife Jann of Fair Haven, his five grandchildren, Camille of Boston and Stephen of Indianapolis, and Matthew, Jonathan and Elizabeth of Fair Haven, also many other loving family and friends. Services will be private.
