Framces L. Bruno

Frances (nee Layton) Bruno, 94, passed away Friday Jan. 27, 2017 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Frances was born and raised in Wall Twp. and a 1940 graduate of Manasquan High School. She was a member of the Manasquan Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends (Quaker). Frances was predeceased by her husband of 58 years Natale, her parents Albert C.(Jake) & Laura Gifford Layton, her siblings Mary Jane, Doris and Albert (Bub). She is survived by her sister Ruth Ramsdell of Spring Lake Heights. Frances was devoted to her large and loving family and her memory will live on through her children Gail Bruno of Philadelphia, Pa., Marta Dolan & husband Jim of Wall, Priscilla & husband Jim of Manasquan, Jim Bruno & wife Cyndee, Carlsbad Cal., John Bruno & wife Marilyn of Wall, 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. In her memory, contributions can be made in her name to The Old Wall Historical Society P.O. Box 1203 Wall, NJ 07719 were she served as President and member for many years.
