In Loving Memory of Floria "Peanut" Franklin

Peanut was born on September 20, 1951, to the late Julius and Bertha Franklin. She was raised in Neptune, New Jersey, where she graduated from Neptune High School. A lifelong believer in the value of education, Floria earned her Associates from Brookdale Community College and then continued her studies at Thomas Edison State University, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance through hard work and determination.

Affectionately known as "Peanut," Floria had a vibrant spirit and found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She loved taking long drives while listening to her favorite music, sightseeing, and enjoying the beauty around her. Whether she was gathered around a table playing board games and cards or singing and dancing with those she loved, she had a special way of making every moment memorable.

One of her family's most treasured traditions was "Sundays at Club Peanut's." It wasn't just a meal—it was a celebration of family, laughter, music, dancing, and togetherness. Around her table, everyone felt welcomed, loved, and at home. Those Sundays became cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who shared them.

Floria's life was defined by her unwavering love for her family, her generous heart, and the joy she brought to everyone around her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, resilience, and togetherness that will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her.

Floria was preceded in death by her cherished siblings, Jacqueline Gilliam, Robert Franklin, Julius "Posey" Franklin, and Cassandra "Sandy" Franklin. She leaves behind a legacy of love and countless treasured memories. She is survived by her devoted life partner, Anthony Earl; her loving daughters, Katrina Franklin and Monique Berry; and her beloved son-in-law, Cleveland Berry. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Shameir, Cassandra, Deshawn, and Gia Berry, and an adoring great-grandmother to Aurora Rose Monaghan- Berry, who brought endless joy to her heart.

She is also lovingly remembered by her sisters, Regina Jagoo and Judith Franklin; and a host of nieces and nephews, including Elijah, Tiffani, Kristen, and Marsha Gilliam; Kisha and Kevin Franklin; Serena Walker; Indira Jagoo; Julius and Michael Johnson; Carmen Lipford; and Kia Hartman, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit will forever remain in the songs we sing, the games we play, the meals we share, and the love that binds our family together.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts.
