Florence Mcauley

Florence McAuley (nee Giaimo) 102, died at home on March 20, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Newark on December 17, 1922 and lived most of her life in Glen Ridge before moving to West Long Branch for last 8 years.

Florence was a homemaker and a member of the Rosary Society of Holy Name Church in East Orange.

She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years Daniel J. McAuley. She is survived by her children, Diane and the late Thomas Lenney of Roseland, Daniel and Theresa of Alton, Maine, and Joann and Jim Ross of West Long Branch, along with her grandchildren Thomas Lenney, Frank Ross, Bridget Peabody, Sean McAuley, Ryan McAuley, and seven great grandchildren.

Services are entrusted to Jersey Shore Cremation, 43 Taylor Avenue, Manasquan, NJ.
