Evelyn Monica Mihok

Evelyn Monica Mihok, 73, of Manasquan, NJ, passed away peacefully at Jersey Shore University Medical Center on August 15, 2021. She was born on May 19, 1948 to Lilliane Collini and Joseph Schultz in Ellwood City, PA. Evelyn was the second of five children. She worked as a nurse for over 30 years. If you knew Evelyn, at one point or another, she was probably helping to take care of you or a loved one. After retiring from being a nurse, she volunteered at the VNA in Manasquan. Evelyn was passionate about helping others. Evelyn was an avid gardener and was a member of the Sea Lavender Garden Club. She was proud of the bike path garden that she tended. She also volunteered as a docent at the Squan Beach Life Saving Station. She was a devoted and loving mother to her daughter Noelle. She is survived by her sister, ​Mary Frances Schenley and brother, Nathan Schultz. Her sense of humor, strength, beauty, and kindness will be greatly missed. “The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.” - Dolly Parton A memorial celebration of her life will be held in August of 2022.
