Eugene Henry O'Hara

Eugene H. O'Hara "Gene" age 81, of Belford passed away Monday, Feb. 24, 2014 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Hillside, he resided in Belford for most of his life. He is predeceased by his parents, Eugene and Julia O'Hara. Gene served in the Air Force during the Korean War from 1951 through 1955, after which he went on to work in the vending industry and started his own vending business. Gene was a devoted family man who took great pride in his children and grandchildren. Surviving are his loving wife of sixty two years, the former Joan Treger; his daughters, Nancy Fuhro and her husband Steve of Manchester, NJ; Joyce Padgett and her husband Jay of Middletown; his sons, Glen and his wife Charlene of Manchester, NJ; and Cliff and his wife Maria of Lincroft; as well as eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
