Ethel A Phillips

Ethel A. Phillips, 62, of Bayville NJ passed away peacefully on July 21, 2017 at Jersey Shore Medical Center Neptune after a long battle with cancer. Ethel was born in Neptune to Richard and Catherine Kimmy on February 12, 1955. Ethel lived local all of her life, she went to school in Neptune and married John H. Phillips, Sr. on September 15, 1972 in Asbury Park. Ethel loved taking care of people and helping people out, she worked for many years in the medical field as a CNA. Ethel enjoyed meeting people. Everywhere that she went she made friends. However, her family has always been her life. Ethel is preceded in death by her parents Richard and Catherine Kimmy, two brothers Monte McCormick and George McCormick. Ethel is survived by her husband of 46 years John H. Phillips, Sr., two sisters Patricia Cartagena and Esther Kimmy, her son John H. Phillips Jr, and three daughters, Stacie Phillips, Ethel Dispensiere and Cathy Wooden. Also 11 grandchildren and 6 great grand children who will miss her immensely. Ethel requested that there will be no funeral services held.
