Elizabeth Betty Mason

Elizabeth "Betty" Mason 92 of Toms River, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday November 25, 2019 at Ocean Medical Center (Brick). Betty was a resident of the Chelsea of Toms River for the past 9 years. Born in Newark, NJ on October 28, 1927 Betty moved to Brick in 1953 where she taught school for Brick Township schools until her retirement in 1990. After retirement she moved to Forked River and then a snow bird in Frostproof, Florida. Betty served on the Brick board of education for 4 years and was a member of the Eastern Star for the past 50 years. Betty is predeceased by her husband Stanley in 2001 and son Frank in 2018. She is survived by her brother Richard Schultz of Newark, DE, son Donald of Alpha, NJ, daughter Carol Schultz and her husband John Toms River, NJ ,5 grandchildren: Christopher, Sean, Susan, Mathew, Andrew, 7 great-grandchildren: Morgandy, Lindsey, Riley, Kaiden, Emily, Abigail and Benjamin, 1 niece Nancy Morris of DE and 1 nephew Ken Schultz of Ny. Cremation will be private.
