Eleanor "Rose" Martin

Eleanor “Rose” Cox Martin of Keansburg,N.J. peacefully passed away on Friday, August, 18 2023. Eleanor was born in the Bronx, New York to James J. and Augusta Cox in 1934. She was predeceased by her husband David John Martin and her daughter Patricia Elizabeth Martin, also her three sisters Geraldine Cox Flogel, Janet Cox Horgan, and Elizabeth Cox.

Eleanor is survived by her children, Rosellen and husband Patrick McEnaney, David P. Martin, and Michael A. Martin, her beloved grandsons Patrick and Michael McEnaney and Michael P. Martin, and very special nieces, nephews and cousins.

Eleanor was an old school “stay at home Mom”, her family was her life’s occupation and she enjoyed every moment.

We are planning a “Celebration of her Life” for Saturday, October 28, 2023 to be held at the VFW Post 4303 Davern Avenue Hazlet NJ 07730.

We want to say a very special thank you to all friends and family for the love and support during this difficult time, and especially to the staff of Bayside Manor Special Care Unit and Homeside Hospice who all worked together to keep Mom safe and comfortable. God Bless you all.
