Edward R. Tombs

Edward Robert Tombs AGE: 79 • Brick Twp. Edward R. Tombs sadly passed away on Monday, January 27, 2014 surrounded by his family. Ed was born and raised in Rahway. He was a graduate of Rahway High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Ed retired from Alcatel-Lucent (Western Electric) after 34 years. He is pre-deceased by his parents, Edward B. and Anne Tombs. Surviving are his loving wife, Carol, of 42 years; his sons, Christopher Sr. (Debra) and Michael (Naomi); his daughter, Laura Bell (Jeff); his beloved grandchildren, Christopher Jr. and Karina Bell; his brother, Bill Tombs (Patricia) and all his loving nephews and niece and their families. A Memorial Service will be held 2 pm, Sat., Feb. 1st. at St. Thomas Lutheran Church, Hwy 70 & Salmon St., Brick.
