Edward O'Brien

With a heavy heart I share the unexpected passing of my husband Ed. He passed away unexpectedly in his sleep, Sunday April 12 th. Our family’s hearts are broken as we navigate this unimaginable loss. We are grateful for your love, prayers and support at this very difficult time.

Born in Newton, New Jersey on June 19, 1965. He was a man who worked hard throughout his life and faced many challenges with quiet strength, perseverance and determination. No matter what obstacles came his way, he continued to push forward, always doing his best for the people he loved most. While he enjoyed the simple things in life like spending time playing games on his phone, his happiest moments were always the times surrounded by family. He treasured time together sharing meals, laughing at home or making memories on family vacations. One of his greatest joys was Disney vacations, especially celebrating his 60 th birthday last year. Disney brought out his sense of fun, wonder and happiness and these memories will forever be remembered by everyone lucky enough to share them with him. Above all, he was a devoted husband, caring brother and loving uncle who showed his love through his hard work, loyalty and presence. His family was his world, and he made sure they knew how much they meant to him. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered and forever carried in the hearts of those who loved him.

He was a loyal employee of ShopRite in Freehold for 21 years. He is survived by his wife Marie and his three sisters Debbie Little, Penny O’Brien, Lisa O’Brien, and many nieces and nephews.

Heaven definitely gained an awesome angel who was kind, loving, funny and full of life.
