Edward J. Graziano, 57, passed peacefully on March 03, 2018, surrounded by his family and enveloped in the love they shared throughout his life.
Affectionately known as "Eddie G." to all, his life revolved around his family, friends and the love of baseball -- in particular his NJ Marlins, where Eddie G. parlayed his passion and excellence in the sport into helping hundreds of young men achieve their dreams of playing college baseball. Eddie G.s legacy lives on in the NJ Marlins, headed by his son Jared Graziano since 2016. Eddie was so proud to see Jared carrying on his intensity and devotion, not only to the game, but to its promising and talented players.
Benjamin Franklin once said "Many people die at 25 and arent buried until they are 75." Eddie G.s path inspired so many and will touch generations of athletes to come. The family is establishing a college baseball scholarship in Eddies name. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Compete4Cancer, a nonprofit organization the family created to benefit young athletes who have relatives with cancer. www.gofundme.com/compete4cancer
Eddie is survived by his beloved wife, Denise Ulgur Graziano, his son Jared and his daughter Gabriella; his parents Barbara and Joseph Graziano; his siblings Anna Marie Graziano, Joseph Graziano, Thomas Graziano, Linda Marie Graziano, Julianne Schornstein and Michael Graziano; 15 nieces and nephews; and four great nieces and nephews.
Services are entrusted to Jersey Shore Cremation Service, 36 Broad Street, Manasquan, NJ.
