Doris Blum Salvi

Doris (nee Blum) Salvi 88 of Spring Lake Heights passed away peacefully on Tuesday February 11, 2014 at the Avow Hospice in Naples, FL. Born in Bayonne and raised in Staten Island, she graduated from Tottenville High School and retired from the U.S. Public Health Hospital in Staten Island. Doris and her husband Nicholas retired to Holiday City South in Berkeley Twp. Doris is predeceased by her husband Nicholas A Salvi in 2002 and her daughter Charlene Chalfant in 2012. Surviving are her daughter Ronell Giresi and son-in-law George G. Giresi of Wall Twp., her son Arnold R. Blum and daughter-in-law Melanie of Sarasota, FL, grandson Mark D. Coburn of New York City and granddaughter Amy R. Coburn of San Rafael, CA. Doris left a note in her personal papers. " When I die, as for my notice in the paper, keep it small". Doris, you were a wonderful mother, grandmother and mother-in-law, you will be missed. Interment services will be held, 11 am Saturday, March 8th at Ocean County Memorial Park, 1722 Silverton Rd.
