Ocean Township- Dolores DeAngelis Morales, 87, of Ocean Township, was called upon by the Lord on Friday July 27th with her daughter, Dawn Morales, and neice, Dara Corallo, by her side. Born in Spring Lake, NJ, Dolores lived and thrived in the Asbury Park and Ocean Township areas. Dolores was an active member of her community and involved in many clubs and organizations, such as, Sons of Italy, Ocean Township Friendship Club, SEARCH, Italian American Seniors, plus an active member of her church, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. She was a loving mother and grandmother with a heart of gold. She loved spending time with family, bowling, drawing, bocce, and gambling. Dolores worked at Monmouth Park Racetrack for 25 years where she loved betting on the races. She is predeceased by her mother and father Emily and Benjamin DeAngelis, and many aunts and uncles. She is survived by her three children, Raymond Sexton and wife Ceil, Robert Sexton and wife Phyllis, and Dawn Morales and cherished grandchildren, Kristen Bravo, Raymond Sexton, Robert Sexton, Steven Sexton, Hope Morales and Brady Morales. Also, her loved 7 great grandchildren, her two siblings, Marion Smith and Michael DeAngelis, and her aunt, Katharine Menell. Also, her honorary sister, Maryann Fallica. A Memorial Mass will be held at Mother of Mercy Church formally known as, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (Asbury Park) at 12pm with a celebration of Dolores' life following at The Renaissance in Ocean Township on August 2nd.
