Diane Altruda

Diane Altruda (Coccia) 69, of Neptune, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on June 29th after a long 21 year battle with Breast Cancer . Diane was born in Providence, Rhode Island to Margaret (Mariano) Coccia and the late Louis Coccia on June 15, 1951. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 41 years, Paul Altruda. Diane graduated nursing school in 1973. She worked as an RN at Marmouth Medical for 20 years and as an RN at a private practice for over 10 years. She was an avid advocate for breast cancer awareness and loved animals more than anything, especially her dog, Max whom will miss her very much. In her spare time she found peace in spending time by the ocean at the beach and with her beloved family and friends . Diane is survived by her brother, Louis Coccia and his wife Joyce Faraone, her sister, Jean Kenney and her husband Kevin and she is predeceased by her sister, Lorraine Coccia. She is also survived by her sister in laws Elaine Harnad and her husband Paul and her sister in law Diane Rocco and her husband Joe. She is also survived by her nieces and nephew, Kevin Kenney and his wife Nicole, her niece Melissa Berard and her husband, Michael and her niece Maegan Kenney and Lucianna Faraone Coccia. She is also survived by her great niece and nephews Jack, Joseph, Justin and Bella . Services are to be held at a later date .
