Dennis Gerald Bifano, age 74, of Manchester, NJ, passed away on Dec. 27th 2025 in his home with family members and friends close by his side after a long courageous battle with leukemia.
Born on 07/26/1951 in Newark, NJ to Angelo and Antionette Bifano. Dennis completed high school and then went on to serve his country, serving multiple tours in Vietnam in the Special Forces as an Airborne Ranger, primarily rescuing P.O.W.’s. After the war he pursued a career driving a tractor trailer for various companies before settling into a career as a Master Mechanic, which he continued for the remainder of his life.
Dennis Bifano was the person everyone turned to in times of need. A master mechanic by trade and at heart, he possessed the rare ability to fix anything with wheels, but his true gift was his giving spirit. He never hesitated to roll up his sleeves or spend hours under a hood to help family and friends with mechanical issues, ensuring everyone around him was safe and back on the road. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and belonged to several clubs finally settling in with the Righteous Few.
Beyond his technical skill, Dennis Bifano was a deeply caring soul and a masterful listener. He provided a safe harbor for those around him, always willing to sit quietly and help others work through their personal problems or life's challenges. He was as skilled at tuning an engine as he was at mending a spirit, and he will be remembered as a helpful and steady presence who truly lived to serve others. To know Dennis Bifano was to know what it meant to be truly supported.
Dennis Bifano is survived by his Spouse Lynda Bifano; children Marleana Bifano, Tami Pentlicki (Jeff), James Gillen (Danielle); siblings, Gary Bifano (MaryEllen), Amy Miano (Foster), Tommy Bifano (Patty), brother-in-law Guy Gieb and sister-in-law JoAnne Bryson; and seven grandchildren, Samantha, Noah, Jaydan, Dienna, Devin, Shayla & Lilyan and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Angelo and Antionette Bifano.
