Deirdre Cuttrell

Deirdre Cuttrell, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and dedicated member of the Avon-by-the-Sea community, passed away on July 28, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. She left behind her loving husband Benjamin, who together raised four children; Alicia, Cole, Ashley and Adam. Her love extended also to her grandchildren; Peyton, Sadie, Riley, Wyatt, Jason and Kinsley. She also dearly loved her brother Herbert and Evan Brooks, and their beautiful families.

Born February 14, 1954, she had an adventurous spirit and passion for horseback riding, volleyball, camping and barrier reef scuba diving. Like many, she enjoyed family vacations. Among her favorite destinations were the Vermont and Catskills ski slopes, Hawaii and the Fripp Islands in South Carolina. She was an Avon-by-the-Sea EMT volunteer. She was also awarded "First Aider of the Year".

A gathering be held August 3, 2024 at the Avon-by-the-Sea Fire Department between the hours of 3 and 6 pm.

Services are entrusted to Jersey Shore Cremation, 43 Taylor Avenue, Manasquan, NJ.
