Surviving family includes his devoted mother, Carolyn Rathsmith who was always his guiding light and loved him unconditionally through his suffering; his son Tyler McCurry and his daughters Ryan McCurry and Sydney Rathsmith; his sister and brother-in- law Donna and Tom Degnan and nephew Dylan Degnan; his brother Jack Rathsmith and his brother Michael Rathsmith and his partner Bobby Johnson.
