Damiano Binetti

Damiano Binetti, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother passed away on May 21, 2025, at the age of 78.

Born in Hoboken on November 11, 1946, Damiano was a lifelong resident of New Jersey, most recently from Ocean Township. Damiano lived a life marked by dedication, hard work, and deep love for family and country. As a proud Vietnam veteran, he served with honor and courage, carrying the spirit of service with him throughout his life. After returning home, he owned and operated his own plumbing company.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Guilio and Elisabetta (Sciancalepore) Binetti.

Above all, Damiano was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, and a cherished brother. He was the happiest when cheering on his children at their soccer games and sharing good meals with family and friends.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria; his children, Danny and Jennifer; his granddaughter, Ava; his dear siblings: brother Donato and his wife Mary, sister Anna Morreale, and sister Marie Rovetto. He is also lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephew.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his honor to a veteran’s organization or charity of your choice.

Rest in peace, Damiano. He will forever be in our hearts.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
